Advertising Policy

This policy guides requests made by Advertise, business contact, and future media areas of the site.

While there is no active advertising module, this page describes editorial criteria and expectations — it does not constitute a media contract.

Communication must be honest, compatible with Portuguese culture, and not mislead the audience. Misleading, offensive content, or content incompatible with the Editorial Policy may be rejected.

Advertisements about food, beverages, and travel must comply with applicable regulations and good advertising practices.

Content about alcoholic beverages is intended for those over 18 years old. We require responsible communication, without encouraging excessive consumption.

We may refuse pieces that violate advertising standards or good industry practices.

Sponsored content, advertisements, or business partnerships will be clearly marked when published, according to good practices and, when applicable, the Consumer Defense Code (Law No. 8.078/1990).

The editorial presence of a partner without a sponsored label does not mean the absence of a future commercial relationship — consult specific texts on each page.

Empório Portugal may refuse, revise, limit the dissemination, or withdraw advertisements that do not align with the editorial, legal, or institutional image policy.

Submitting a proposal does not guarantee a response within a fixed timeframe or reserved space.

The advertiser is responsible for information, image/brand authorizations, verifiable claims, and compliance with tax and regulatory obligations of their activity.

We do not assume joint liability for commercial promises made exclusively by the advertiser in pieces approved for dissemination, within legal limits.
