Empório Portugal
Attachment and File Policy
Rules for uploading images and PDFs in Empório Portugal forms.
Update
Last updated: June 6, 2026. The current version is the one published on this page.
When a form allows attachments, files undergo validation for type, size, and security before being processed or stored.
Information
1. Scope
This policy applies to attachments submitted through forms such as recipe submission, contact, establishment registration, referrals, and other flows that explicitly allow uploads.
Attachments are for editorial, commercial, or support analysis — they are not automatically published.
Information
2. Allowed types
Unless otherwise indicated in the form, we accept JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WEBP images, as well as PDF for documents or scanned recipes.
Other formats may be rejected for security or operational incompatibility.
Information
3. Size and quantity limits
In general, up to 5 attachments are allowed per submission. Images can be up to 5 MB each; PDF up to 8 MB; total per submission limited to 20 MB.
Limits may vary depending on the form. In case of conflict, the text displayed in the form itself prevails.
Information
4. Prohibited files
We do not accept executables, scripts, HTML, user-uploaded SVG, compressed files (ZIP, RAR, 7Z), risky SQL, XML, backups, or any suspicious files.
Files that trigger security alerts may be rejected or deleted without processing.
Information
5. Security and analysis
Attachments may be checked for MIME type, extension, size, and risk patterns before being forwarded by email or temporarily stored.
We do not guarantee absolute malware detection; we recommend that the user also keep antivirus updated on their device.
Information
6. Storage and access
Attachments used only for email are treated temporarily. If there is a need for further analysis, they must remain in a protected environment, without public access via direct URL.
We do not publish attachments from forms without explicit consent and editorial curation.
Information
7. Privacy and retention
Attachments may contain personal data or identifiable images. The processing observes the Privacy Policy and the LGPD (Law No. 13.709/2018).
We retain attachments only for as long as necessary for the purpose of submission, unless there is a legal obligation or consent for editorial use.
