Pudim de vinho do Porto is an elegant dessert, with a discreet wine aroma and creamy texture.
The wine adds aroma without overpowering the classic base of eggs and milk.
Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- 700 ml milk
- 200 g sugar
- 80 ml Port wine
- Caramel for the mould
- 1 pinch of salt
Method
- Coat the mould with caramel.
- Mix eggs, milk, sugar, salt and Port wine.
- Pass through a sieve.
- Pour into the mould.
- Bake in a bain-marie until set.
- Cool completely before unmoulding.
