About the Recipe

Sweet Potato Azevias are festive sweets made with thin dough and aromatic filling.

The sweet potato provides natural creaminess and pairs well with cinnamon, lemon, or orange.

  • 220 g of sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Orange zest
  • 2 optional egg yolks
  • Oil for frying

Preparation Method

  1. Cook and mash the sweet potato.
  2. Heat with sugar, cinnamon, and zest.
  3. Cook until a firm filling forms.
  4. Let cool.
  5. Fill the dough and seal well.
  6. Fry until golden and finish with sugar.
