Grilled lapas are a seafood snack closely associated with Madeira.

Prepared in their own shell, they receive garlic, butter, and lemon in a simple yet intense combination.

Ingredients

  • 24 cleaned lapas
  • 3 cloves of chopped garlic
  • 60 g of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Chopped parsley
  • Pepper

Preparation Method

  1. Wash the lapas well.
  2. Mix butter, garlic, olive oil, and pepper.
  3. Place a bit of the seasoning on each lapa.
  4. Grill quickly until bubbling.
  5. Finish with lemon and parsley.
  6. Serve immediately.
