About the Recipe
Baked apple is a homemade dessert of rare simplicity, very common on winter tables.
The oven concentrates the fruit's juices and flavors with cinnamon and butter.

Ingredients
- 4 baking apples
- 4 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 40 g of butter
- Juice of half a lemon
- 100 ml of water or white wine
Preparation Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- Remove the core from the apples with a peeler or knife.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon; fill the apples.
- Place in a baking dish, add a bit of butter to each, and drizzle with lemon and water.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, basting occasionally, until soft.
- Serve warm, with the syrup from the bottom of the dish.
