- 900 g of potatoes
- 500 g of minced or chopped meat
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 chopped tomatoes
- 80 ml of olive oil
- 1 egg yolk for brushing
- Milk and butter for the mash
- Salt, pepper, and nutmeg
Preparation method
- Cook potatoes and prepare firm mash.
- Sauté onion, garlic, and meat in olive oil.
- Add tomato and cook until the filling is moist.
- Layer mash, filling, and another layer of mash.
- Brush with egg yolk on top.
- Bake until golden.
